Panic

On the latest episode (HERE) of Dharma Time, The Dharma Guy & The Dope Doctor talk about panic and the Coronavirus COVID-19.

We all must respect that the Coronavirus or COVID-19 is here and it’s very real. It’s devastating multiple countries and communities all over the globe. However, it’s important that we remain calm and respond in a thoughtful manner instead of all our panic. Panic tends to make things much worse than they really need to be. Panic is what causes the aggression as well as the hoarding of important supplies rather than taking only what you may need.

It’s also important to take it seriously enough to respect the death toll and the severity of its reach. Respecting something in a way that leads you to follow the guidelines set in place to prevent the spreading of the virus in a major way. Following the guidelines as well as thinking of your fellow humans in this time of worry and fear is very much needed.

Finally, we must also realize that this is a monetary thing and it will pass. We can’t get so enthralled with it that we forget to live our lives and be present with those around us within our homes and wherever we choose to enact our social distance. Use this as a time to come closer to loved ones in an emotionally way to help us remember and charity our time together even after this scare passes. There’s more to life than worrying about viruses.
